why is cricket a entertaining sport to watch on television?

i wanna write a essay on the sport i like to watch on televivision. so pls help to find me something on cricket which make it entertaining to watch on television.

1. Cricket is played by limited countries and is most watched sports in indian subcontinent only. while world wide its Football which is most watched sports with world cup the biggest sporting event in the world.


2. I think you need to watch a game for yourself. ODIs are entertaining as well as the new T/20. There are some great cricket commentators who know a few jokes etc. There is the excitement from the crowd, and don't forget some controversy as well. And you can also watch a 5 day test, and boy, that too can be exciting.


3. THERE ARE LOTS OF OTHER SPORTS ALSO LIKE TENNIS WHICH ARE ENTERTAINING TO WATCH . YEAH CRICKET IS ENTERTAINING BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE THE POPULARITY AS FOOTBALL.

   IF U ASK SOME CHILDRENS WHO DOESN'T HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ON ANY SPORTS AND TELL THEM TO SEE BOTH CRICKET- FOOTBALL, THEN I WILL GUARANTEE U THAT MOST OF THE CHILDRENS WILL LIKE TO SEE T20 TYPE OF CRICKET.

   BUT FOOTBALL ALREADY HAS THEIR BASE AND POPULARITY FROM LONG TIME AGO AND THEY HAVE LOTS OF DEVELOPED COUNTRIES PLAYING IT ALSO .

   SO, THATS WHY FOOTBALL REMAINS ALWAYS ENTERTAINING.

   BUT IF U WILL ASK ME THAT WHICH IS ENTERTAINING AMONG THE BOTH FOOTBALL OR T20 CRICKET.

   THEN FOR ME T20 CRICKET IS MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING THAN FOOTBALL.

   BECAUSE IN EVERY SPLIT OF SECONDS IN T20 CRICKET, U WILL SEE 4'S AND 6'S AND WICKETS FALLING ALSO. U CAN EXPECT ANY TEAM CAN COMEBACK AT ANY TIME.

   WHEREAS FOOTBALL, U HAVE TO WAIT LOT OF TIME TO SEE ONE GOAL ALSO EVEN IF SOMETIME THERE WILL BE NO GOAL FROM EITHER TEAM.

   IT MIGHT BE MY PERSONAL CHOICE BECAUSE EVERYBODY HAS THEIR OWN UNIQUE CHOICE.

   BUT I LOVE WATCHING TENNIS SPECIALLY FEDERER VS NADAL IS MY FAVORITE RIVALRY TO WATCH.
